The 2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid Engine is identical to the 2009 model. The hybrid engine is designed to be a responsive, powerful machine. It has responsive handling and quick acceleration. It has been developed to provide a fun driving experience with the added benefit of better fuel efficiency. The Altima comes equipped with a CVT Transmission that allows the engine to smoothly shift between all gears, without noticeable change. Some reviewers have noted that the Altima does not smoothly accelerate at all speeds and the transition between gas and electric power was noticeable.
The engine produces 198 HP total. The breakdown is 140 hp from the gas engine and 58 hp from the electric motor. The gas and electric portions can function separately or together. The engine is a 4 Cylinder, 2.5 liter engine for that produces a combined 198 hp. The 4 cylinder in-line engine provides one of the most efficient and cleanest running engines on the market today. The gas mileage is 35 mph in town, 33 on highway. In comparison to the Toyota and Ford hybrids, the three are very comparable in fuel efficiency.
A major drawback to the Nissan Altima Hybrid itself is limited availability. So far the Nissan Altima Hybrid is only available in 8 states, California, Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon and Rhode Island. Another issue with the vehicle is the pricing. Options are tiered so that the basic model is affordable but any upgrades move the price point quickly past the standard versions of the Altima.
The Nissan Altima Hybrid offers advantages over the Fusion and Camry in handling and speed and is close to these two mid-size sedans with its excellent gas mileage. The Altima can go from 0 to 60 in 7.6 seconds.

The new Nissan Skyline was introduced to overcome the sources of discontentment in its predecessors. As per the latest findings of the company’s research over the market requirements, the smaller sized R32’s nimbleness is more preferable than R33 because of its smaller size. Therefore, R34 was introduced with a decrease in length up to 7.5 cm to reduce the dimensions and make it even more suitable for better handling. By covering all the previous problems, the brand new R34 was then launched with better facilities and smaller size.
As far the design and exteriors of the Skyline are concerned, it has a long hood, larger air dam and a flat looking windscreen. It has canted, clear and narrow headlights. This car just seems like a Samurai that is getting ready for a flight. This car stands over 245/40 ZR18 Bridgestone Potenza RE040, which is specially designed for the Skyline. The body composed of carbon fiber, provides this car strength as well as attractive looks.
The Nissan Skyline is a five seated car, which is among the top ones for daily drive. The interior design of the car looks very simple. The various controls are also provided along with the car, which are well place within easy reach of the driver. From safety point of view, it has air-bags for driver, passengers and some extra side air bags are also attached to the car. However, many car buyers also prefer Skyline because it can provide a sportive driving experience and do lot more at a relatively cheaper price.
Nissan is well known throughout the world for producing cars with great interior features. But any company cannot make cars keeping in mind the priorities of any one person. They can target a particular car to a specific segment of the populace but surely the production cannot be on individual basis. Keeping this in mind, some people may like a few features in one model and some in the other. This is where Nissan 4×4 parts come in handy. These may satisfy the demands for each and every person and with a little investment may also enrich your driving experience.
On the other hand, if you are on the lookout for substitute parts for your Nissan car then you must replace the car’s worn out parts only with the genuine Nissan 4wd parts. This will ensure that your car maintains the great performance even after the substitution and that too for an extended time period. Original Nissan pieces matter a lot and boost the operation of the car as well. In case you wish to upgrade your vehicle, the same rule pertains.
But the price factor can sometimes be dissuading for many. The authentic parts from an authorized Nissan dealer will cost you dearer but the quality shall be unquestionable. Most people are ready to compromise on this point. But the safety and comfort are much more important, be it you or me or anyone else. And of course, there is the guarantee that once you have installed original Nissan parts they will last you much more than just any accessories you pick up. So the investment lasts longer, gives you better comfort, is much more soothing to the eyes and you relish the driving experience.
What more does a person need? As to the question of availability there are lots of dealers who offer the Nissan spare parts at very affordable rates. Many such car parts sellers are also seen on the online information banks. These spare parts are available at very reasonable rates all the 365 days of the year.
But you still need to be careful while picking these parts. Some dealers do not have proper authority to sell them and may cheat you into buying fake parts as well. So, always check the store’s registration and other certifications too.
Always ask for a testing before you take your car home. If there is any problem you can refuse to pay him your hard earned money.

Automakers are clamoring to build and market cars to the Generation Y crowd which, loosely defined, and encompasses new drivers and mostly everyone who is under 30. Toyota threw the gauntlet down in 2003 when they introduced a line of cars under the Scion brand. Now, Nissan is responding and the Versa to be released during the summer of 2006 is their answer. Will the Versa compete successfully or be lost in a sea of Gen Y vehicles soon to flood the market? All of that is too early to determine, so lets take a look at the Versa and what the car has to offer to motorists.
A visit to Nissans website reveals much about the Versa. Unlike a certain Scion vehicle that takes its styling cues from a toaster, the Versa is aerodynamic and reminds me of the Toyota Matrix. Available as a four door sedan or five door hatchback, the Versa is expected to retail for around 12,000, the same price range as Scion vehicles. Like Scion, the Versa will be fairly well equipped to give motorists a value packed experience without having to add on several thousands more to the base sticker price in order to achieve a satisfactory and comfortable driving experience.
Along with a 1.8L I4 engine, here is what you can expect to be included with base models:
AMFMCD audio system
Air Conditioning
Power side mirrors and automatic trunk release
6 speed manual transmission [4 speed automatic is optional]
Split folding 6040 seat with the hatchback
Not a bad standard equipment list for the price. For 2,000 more, SL versions will come with aluminum alloy wheels, cruise control, power windowsdoorslocks, remote keyless entry, a souped up sound system, and more.
The car will have a 102 inch wheel base which is long for a vehicle of its type. The result is more interior room, with four adults having ample knee and leg room to weather long trips.
Pictures of the interior reveal a car that is well though out and not cheap looking. I especially like the dashboard with its overlapping circular instrument panel and easy to reach audio and air conditioning controls. A generation ago, entry level cars would have looked and felt cheap. Todays drivers expect more and the Versa delivers in the form of a decent level of standard equipment and attention to style.
The Versa replaces the Sentra as the entry level Nissan. Nissan has restyled the Sentra and promoted it up a notch much like Honda has done with the Civic and Toyota with the Corolla.
Although more expensive than Chevys Aveo and Kias Rio, the car has more flair and style than either one. Still, one has to wonder how the Versa will compete against Toyotas soon to be released Yaris and the all new Honda Fit. Throw in new models expected from Dodge and Ford and add Chinese cars to the mix and the whole entry level market becomes saturated.
Ultimately, the Versa is a step in the right direction and a nice alternative to some of its boxy competitors. Gen Y drivers have another choice in the Versa and an alternative to Scion, Toyotas youth-oriented brand.
